The white beaches of Maravilla in Tabuelan are blessed with powdery white sand and clear aqua waters. It is an excellent seascape to the north and a little paradise that is a must-visit for anyone looking to escape the hustles of city living.
Maravilla White Beach in Tabuelan is one of Cebu’s most beautiful white-sand beaches. It is postcard-worthy, situated in a tropical landscape with a stunning view of the sunset. The beach is well known to adventure seekers and has lately been one of the busiest beaches north of Cebu.
Where to Stay
Along the way, I passed several private beach properties. The developed ones included a resort with a swimming pool that caters to corporate groups and one which had an Aztec concept and was priced soundly for backpackers and campers.

How to get there:
By Public Transportation: Take a bus or V-hire to Tabuelan from North Bus Terminal and tell the conductor to drop you off at Tabuelan Public Market (Fare is PHP 160 per person). From the market, ride a motorcycle (habal-habal) to Maravilla Barangay Hall (Fare PHP 40). The public beach is a few minutes walk from there.
By Car: Navigate using Waze or Google / Apple Maps and key in Maravilla Beach as the destination. There are plenty of parking spaces available for PHP 20.

Maravilla Public Beach is located northwest of Cebu City in the municipality of Tabuelan. It is around 3 hours away, and you’ll pass by plenty of beautiful mountains and coastal roads.
